The Solo Project
A solo project had been burning in the back of my mind for years, always being pushed aside by packed schedules, tours and rehearsals. There was never enough time - until the pandemic hit, the world pressed pause and all I had was time.
Playing guitar has always felt like speaking a language that doesn’t need words. Tone is the voice. Riffs are the words. Your fire is what brings it to life. You can hit the same note as the next guy, but if your hands, your heart, and your stories are in it - it’s yours. That’s your accent. That’s your voice.
In 2022 I dropped my first solo single. G.I.A.N.T.S - an instrumental track built to sound massive, with low-tuned, heavy riffs, weaving melodic, lyrical themes with fast, technical solos and complex, aggressive rhythms.
It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s me paying respect to the legends that shaped me as a guitarist.
D.W.A.R.F followed în 2023. What started as a simple gear review turned into my second single. A funk-djent-blues hybrid that came to life when Zeedo Shop asked me to review the “Dwarf” processor by Mod Audio.
Every musician has a vault - a folder with musical themes that may or may not turn into songs. H.E.R.O.E.S made it out of that folder în 2024. It's also one that came to me in a very random moment, in between two guitar lessons and I was quick enough to hit the rec button on my phone. No overthinking.
I built it up, let it breathe then took it all the way to Greece for the music video.
